Bred with such a dominant personality makes him absolutely stubborn and hard-headed, and when one tries to change his opinion, or force their own on his, Dux does not take it. The scars that line his sleek body are earned from the fellow Pantha Wolves that did not appreciate how different he was; and they overlooked his normal uprising and his normally peaceful persona and threw themselves on him. Oddly enough, when most would have become submissive and soft, Dux hardened. Sometimes when hearts are broken they grow back crooked and unhealthy; and his did. The puppy innocence that once brightened his eyes has long since disappeared and been replaced be a steel pole and an unbreakable spirit. Dux finds a certain mischievous happiness in denying a bully the response of seeing him beaten in spirit, and stemming from this his odd streak of independence flourished. He relies on no one beside himself, and his breed's ideals of being loners has been taken to an extreme; even in breeding season he ignores all others and keeps to himself. There is nothing even resembling a sensitive side left in this hard creature, but Dux doesn't mind.
